Meet Kiera & Nieves

The two voices of Data Second. One finds the deal, the other checks whether it is one.

Deals and the call

Kiera

Kiera tracks prices across every store so she knows a real low from a fake sale. She makes the buy-now-or-wait call on every product in the show.

Job: Makes the buy-or-wait call
Signature: The price history chart
Made of: Pixels and price alerts

“Buy it.”
“Wait for it.”
“That is not a deal.”

Specs and skepticism

Nieves

Nieves reads the spec sheet, the fine print and the return policy. If a launch has a catch, Nieves finds it first.

Job: Reads the spec sheet
Signature: The awkward question
Made of: Pixels and footnotes

“What is the catch?”
“For a laptop.”

Kiera and Nieves are AI-generated characters. Their voices, faces and photos are synthetic. The products, prices and sources are real and checked before every episode, and prices change after we check them.
